If warmth finds this state like it found my heart...

This marks my first blog post as a married man!  Our big day was April 2, 2011.  Not the warmest day of the year, but definitely the most exciting and special!  We received a GoPro Hero HD camera as a wedding gift from my brother, and it's been my favorite so far (close 2nd was the couple's massage on our honeymoon in Vegas.)

I've been trying out it's many features, mostly on the bike.  Here's a sample of what is sure to be MANY more pics and vids from the GoPro!

Corktown 5k Race

Cloudy, 34 degrees, scattered snow showers.  Perfect day to run a 5K race in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, right before the St. Patrick's Day parade!  My beautiful fiance ran the race too, marking the first of many 5K races this year for both of us!

Snowshoeing in the great white north

This weekend, my father and I, along with his hiking club, took a trip to Higgins Lake to do some XC skiing and snowshoeing.  The temperature was perfect, but snow conditions were slushy during the day, and iced over in the afternoon, but otherwise a fun filled weekend in the Michigan north.  My only complaint was that my beautiful fiance could not join me.

Let's go Red Wings!

Last wednesday, my fiance and I, along with some of her family, went to see the Wings play the Devils at the Joe.  The game was closer than I would've liked, but the Wings came out on top 2-1.

It's already brought so much, skiing in Southern Michigan and the Cycle World International motorcycle show in Novi, MI.
